Casa no Geres by CORREIA/RAGAZZI Arquitectos

This house is a reconstruction of a rural ruin into a new weekend retreat, within the Cavado River and its tributary. The small plot is located in a protected natural area, so the new building could not exceed the dimensions of the existing ruin and trees had to be preserved. The house takes the form of a large cantelever with a ply interior and concrete finishes externally.
